This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 50519:2010. This standard has the purpose to specify methods for the assessment of the conformity of industrial induction heating equipment with the requirements of the European Workers Directive 2004/40/EC with regard to the safety of persons in electromagnetic fields. Hereby the frequency range up to 30 MHz is covered. The standard specifies the required definitions, divides the heating equipment in three groups and describes the assessment method. The required field data can be determined by measurement. The relevant method is described in this standard via reference to EN 50413:2008. Furthermore requirements concerning the assessment report are given in this standard. In the annexes examples of measurements of magnetic fields are given.
