Basic standard for the calculation and the measurement of human exposure to electromagnetic fields from broadcasting service transmitters in the HF bands (3 MHz – 30 MHz);
German version EN 50475:2008 Class/Status:
Standard,
valid
Released: 2009-01
VDE Art. No.: 0848028
This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 50475:2008 with requirements for the evaluation of the electromagnetic fields emitted by HF broadcast service transmitters, that work n the frequency range 3 MHz to 30 MHz, and the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), current density and contact currents caused by these fields related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields. The objective of this standard is to specify the procedure for the demonstration of compliance with the reference values for the electromagnetic field or the basic restrictions for the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for the equipment covered by this standard.
