This VDE-Guideline is part of a series of VDE-Guidelines for the further training of personnel in broadband expansion. It describes the modules civil engineering – blow-in technology – pull-in technology for fibre optic cables and power cables for distribution networks. The application of the VDE-Guideline to power cables is related to the 5G expansion of the networks and is taken into account here. The contents for courses and seminars described in this VDE-Guideline are to be applied in combination with the VDE-Guideline 0800-220 "Basic principles for the infrastructure specialist fibre optic network technology underground line construction". They presuppose knowledge of the learning objectives of VDE 0800-220. A successfully completed course, e. g. on the "Fundamentals of line construction specialist" or a self-declaration of corresponding knowledge serves as proof. An example of a self-declaration can be found in Appendix A.
