VDE 0800-208 VDE-Leitlinie:2024-08

This VDE-Guideline is part of a series of VDE-Guidelines for the advanced and further training of personnel in broadband expansion. It describes the specialization module, which builds on the module on the fundamentals of fibre optics technology. The contents for courses and seminars described in this VDE-Guideline, presuppose knowledge of the learning objectives of VDE 0800-200 "Guidelines and qualification schemes Broadband – Part 200: Basic module fundamentals of fibre optic technology". Knowledge of optical connection and measurement technology is assumed. A successfully completed course, e.g. for "Fibre Optic Installation Specialist" or a self-declaration of corresponding knowledge serves as proof. An example of a self-declaration can be found in Annex E.
