Radio disturbance characteristics – Limits and methods of measurement for the protection of on-board receivers
(CISPR 25:2021); German version EN IEC 55025:2022 Class/Status:
Standard,
valid
Released: 2023-11
VDE Art. No.: 0800898
This standard contains the German version of EN IEC 55025:2022 and is identical with the fifth edition of the International Standard CISPR 25. It contains limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics for the protection of receivers used on board of vehicles, boats and internal combustion engines against conducted and radiated disturbances produced by components built in the same vehicle. Methods for the measurement of the complete vehicle and for the measurement of components independent from the vehicle are established and limits for the electromagnetic emission are given. An extension of the considered frequency range is intended so that it extends from 150 kHz to 5 925 MHz. This standard defines numerous sets of limits as the installation location of the component, the construction of the vehicle chassis and the design of the harness can influence the coupling of radio disturbances in the built-in receiver. In relation to the previous edition new Annexes J to M were added with information concerning the measurement instrumentation uncertainty for measurement methods described in this standard.
