Specification for radio disturbance and immunity measuring apparatus and methods
Part 1-4: Radio disturbance and immunity measuring apparatus – Antennas and test sites for radiated disturbance measurements
(CISPR 16-1-4:2019 + A1:2020); German version EN IEC 55016-1-4:2019 + A1:2020 Class/Status:
Standard,
valid
Released: 2021-08
VDE Art. No.: 0800736
This standard contains the German version of EN IEC 55016-1-4:2019 + A1:2020 and is identical with the International Standard CISPR 16-1-4 (edition January 2019) and its Amendment A1:2020. The standard specifies requirements for antennae and measuring sites that are used for the measurement of radio-frequency radiated disturbances (disturbance field strengths) in the frequency range 9 kHz to 18 GHz. For this purpose the relevant antenna parameter and the associated verification methods are specified and information concerning the suitability of the antennae for measurements in certain frequency ranges are given. Moreover specifications for the validation of the measuring sites are given. In relation of the previous edition of the standard on one side modifications of sub-clause 4.7 and Annex C were done that are concerned with the use of large loop antenna systems and the validation factors that apply for them. So a distinction of the terms „reference validation factor“ and „measured validation factor“ was introduced in order to specify more accurate validation factors. On the other side a new Annex H was added which contains information concerning the uncertainty of measurements of the cross polar response of antenna.
