This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 50527-2-2:2018 with requirements for the assessment of workplaces with regard to the safety of persons with implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) and CRT-D devices in electromagnetic fields in the frequency range 0 Hz to 300 GHz at working places. The standard serves to the implementation of the European Workers Directive 2013/35/EU. The frequency range under consideration extends from 0 Hz bis 3 GHz. The methods for the assessment are specified in this standard. The assessment includes the likelihood of clinically significant effects and takes account of both transient and long term exposure within specific areas of the workplace (transient exposition).
