Part 3-2: Limits – Limits for harmonic current emissions (equipment input current <= 16 A per phase)
(IEC 61000-3-2:2018); German version EN IEC 61000-3-2:2019 Class/Status:
Standard,
withdrawn
Released: 2019-12
VDE Art. No.: 0800634
This standard contains the German version of the European standard EN 61000-3-2:2019 and is identical with the International Standard IEC 61000-3-2:2018. It contains requirements for the limitation of harmonic currents caused by electrical and electronic equipment with an input current <= 16 A per phase, which are intended for connection to public low-voltage power distribution networks. In relation to the previous standard modifications for the definitions were done, annex B was deleted in favour of the already existing reference to IEC 61000-4-7, limits for lighting equipment with a power between 5 W and 25 W were introduced and the test conditions for television broadcast receivers, information technology equipment (ITE), lighting equipment, vacuum cleaners, high pressure cleaners, refrigerators and freezers, portable electric tools, washing machines and induction cooking hobs were extended.
