DIN EN 61000-4-5 VDE 0847-4-5:2019-03

This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 61000-4-5:2014 + A1:2017 and is identical with the 3rd edition of the International Standard IEC 61000-4-5 (edition 2014) and its Amendment 1:2017. It describes the immunity test of electrical and electronic equipment against surges (surge voltages and currents). For this purpose specifications for the test equipment (test generator, coupling/ decoupling network), for the test set-up, for the test method, for the evaluation of the test results and for the test report are given. Additionally ranges of test levels were specified. In relation to the previous edition a statement concerning the use of a coupling/decoupling network with higher current rating was added in 7.3 and a new annex I which contains explanations hereto was added.
