This supplement 1 applies circuit-breakers for overcurrent protection for household and similar purposes up to a rated voltage (see 6.3) of AC 440 V according to DIN EN 60898-1 (VDE 0641-11) and up to a rated voltage of AC/DC 440 V according to DIN EN 60898-2 (VDE 0641-12) and up to a rated voltage of DC 400 V according to DIN EN 60898-3 (VDE 0641-13). Also this supplement 1 contains indications for the use of selective main circuit-breakers according DIN VDE 0641-21 (VDE 0641-21).
