This document applies to components of transformers and reactors according to standards of the series DIN EN 50708, DIN VDE V 0532-508 and standards of the series DIN VDE 0532. It contains specifications for the unambiguous marking of all components for transformers, reactors and their components, e.g. attached or separately installed cooling systems, external connection lines, etc. Transformers with their components are self-contained and related system components in terms of their function. With the key specified in this document, uniform identification of the components on all transformers is achieved for both power plant and grid transformers.
