This standard specifies supplementary requirements for defined installations and apparatus. In conjunction with DIN VDE 0118 1 (VDE 0118 1) it is applicable for the errection of electrical installations in mines and of electrical installations and parts of electrical installations above ground which due to the inseparability of working and operating processes are in direct connexion with mines as far as function and safety are concerned.
