This part of IEC 61851, defines the EMC requirements for any off board system that is used to charge an electric vehicle, both for conductive AC charging, with a.c. supply voltages according to IEC 60038 up to 1 000 V, DC charging and non conductive charging.
This standard covers off board equipment covering Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3 and Mode 4 charging as defined in IEC61851-1.
