This VDE application guide is based on the existing legal provisions for the operative implementation of mutual support among network operators according to EnWG referring to a manual final measure. It describes the technical implementation with the network operator, the interfaces between different networks and the technical framework conditions with respect to the means of communication between the triggering network operator and immediately subordinate network operators.
The VDE application guide also describes the cooperation of network operators for applying measures to maintain system security in public grids and the connected customer-owned networks.
The VDE application guide replaces section 2 of the TransmissionCode 2007.
