This standard specifies limits and measuring methods for the emission of the whole railway system to the outside world and gives the values of the field strengths most frequently encountered (cartography). The specific requirements are to be applied together with the EN 50121-1. In relation to the previous edition the undated references were changed into dated references and the limits for radiated magnetic fields in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 150 kHz were deleted.
