This international standard provides design rules for the dynamic representation of objects by graphical symbols as presented in e.g. IEC 60617, ISO 14617, IEC 60417 and for future graphical symbols.
This standard provides those operational stages of an object, that typically occur and which need to be presented by standardized graphical symbols in industrial and associated applications. It defines generic rules to be applied for a dynamic presentation of graphical
symbols. It specifies which types of presentation facilities are recommended to present the different operational stages to human readers.
