The purpose of the IEC 62321 series is to provide test methods that will allow the electrotechnical industry to determine the levels of certain substances of concern in electrotechnical products on a consistent global basis. The part 5 of the series specifies the determination of the levels of cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb) and chromium (Cr) polymers, metals and alloys and electronics.
