Abstract:
In the future, microgrids will play a major role in the stability of the electrical grid and the integration of renewable energies. Unlike conventional power plants, renewable energy sources are often connected to the grid through converters. With the concept of the virtual synchronous machine, renewable energy sources contribute to grid services and are expected to provide stable grid operation. By using the Thevenin theorem, the modelling of parallel operation and synchronization of renewable energy sources can be considered, especially for the black start simulation scenario. For this purpose, a model consisting of two microgrids is set up. Each microgrid consists of two batteries, two renewable energy sources and a load.
