Abstract:
The compensation of PWM harmonics by a carrier phase shift-SVPWM (CPS-SVPWM) in the dual-stator PMSM is analyzed. For this purpose, the carriers of a SVPWM were phase-shifted by 180 deg. To verify the analytical methods and to create approximately real conditions, a co-simulation with MATLAB-Simulink and Ansys-Maxwell was used. It was shown that the torque ripple of the DS-PMSM can be reduced, while keeping the same signal quality and lower switching frequencies of the converters. Again, it was also shown that the magnetic losses can be reduced, while the switching frequencies of the inverters remain the same.
