Quantum Network Simulators: Performance Improvement Through Operation Scheduling

Abstract:
This paper introduces a just-in-time operation scheduling approach to enhance the computational performance of quantum network simulators. The proposed method improves efficiency by dynamically scheduling quantum operations based on their temporal dependencies—a constructed Markov process model entanglement evolution, demonstrating the approach’s effectiveness. Performance analysis shows improvements in computational efficiency, particularly for GPU-assisted simulations.
