A New Parameter-free Predictive Current Control for PMSM

Abstract:
In the control methods of permanent magnet synchronous motors, model predictive control has received widespread attention due to its simplicity and good dynamic performance. However, when there are changes in the motor parameters used in the predictive equations, it can significantly affect the motor's operation. To address this issue, this paper designed a new parameter-free current prediction control method. By detecting the current difference, the most influential inductance parameters on motor operation are extracted and updated in the prediction model, reducing the reliance on accurate parameters. Finally, the effectiveness of this method is validated through simulations.
