Abstract:
In this paper the impacts of conducted emissions in an open industrial DC grid are analyzed. Due to the distributed DC link capacitances in devices the impedance of open industrial DC grids differs from con-ventional AC grids. This has a major impact on the propagation of conducted emissions generated from inverters in the grid. The conducted emission testing is done using line impedance stabilization networks (LISN), which on the one hand provide always the same impedance for repeatable measurements and on the other hand represent the real-life environment of the device under test (DUT) for realistic emission propagation. Therefore, a LISN especially for open industrial DC grids is designed. Measurements in test plants and simulations are done. Also, an EMC filter is designed especially the use with inverters in open industrial DC grids.
