Abstract:
During the past three years, the application of biostatistics in the prediction of the pandemic, especially COVID-19, has achieved great growth and improvement. This paper focuses on previous research related to the reaction to and the prediction of the virus and related health issues, showing how disease prevalence and incidence can be quantified, and how well researchers plan, design, analyze, and interpret the data associated with health care, including clinical trials and electronic medical records and health data. In the end, this paper also pays attention to the social and economic fields where biostatistics can be utilized.
