Research on Application of Computer Big Data Technology in Scoring of Sports Competitions

Abstract:
This article designs a wireless local area network electronic timing and scoring system based on computer big data technology. The system includes hardware composition and software composition. The hardware system is used for the collection of on-site results, including timing equipment for starting, segment and ending points, radio transmission equipment, and timing control equipment. The software system is used to process the collected scores on-site. It is written by Delphi software and uses the database that comes with the Delphi software to process the competition data. It can realize the processing of athletes' channel arrangement and management, competition schedules, automatic promotion and score announcements.
