Abstract:
This publication’s intend is to outline an interdomain transformation process of an exemplary power grid model and to benchmark a Co-Simulation of said model. Therefore, the IEEE Nordic Test System, originally implemented as a phasor based model in the Power Factory environment, was transferred to PSS(R)Sincal’s dynamic routine to be run in a phasor domain. Adaptations were made to realize a comparable instantaneous value based network in the same program. A Co-Simulation interface is used to couple sections of the multi-domain models, comparing them to the monolithic model’s behavior and investigating disturbances and faults along with the influence of the interface.
