Frequency Regulation Control System of Wind Power Participating in Power Grid Based on DFIG

Abstract:
As one of the most common renewable energy sources, wind energy has the advantages of abundant resources, inexhaustible resources and convenient use, making it a renewable resource with the best development prospects. With the penetration of large-scale wind energy into the power system, the strong randomness and interruption of power generation are bound to negatively affect the frequency response of the grid. Doubly-fed induction generators (DFIG) generally outperform modern permanent magnet generators in terms of operating efficiency, and are therefore the most basic type of wind turbine today. In this paper, based on the research of DFIG's wind power participating in the gridconnected system of the power grid (PG), three frequency regulation (FR) control strategies of DFIG are proposed, and three control strategies (CS) are used to control the system frequency. The two frequency deviation fluctuations of overproduction and de-loading operation are opposite, and both frequency deviations are reduced under the inertial emulation control.
