Abstract:
Supercapacitors are high-efficiency energy storage devices between traditional capacitors and batteries, which have higher power density than traditional capacitors and longer cycle life than batteries, so they are attracting more and more attention. In this study, the supercapacitor electrode with three-dimensional dandelion morphology was prepared from MnCo2O4 and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) directly on nickel foam (NF) through a one-step hydrothermal method and annealing process. The electrode exhibits high electrochemical properties in 6 mol/L KOH electrolyte. The specific capacitance can reach 3396 F/g at a current density of 1 A/g. When the current density is increased from 1 A/g to 10 A/g, the specific capacitance only decreases from 3396 F/g to 2500 F/g, and the specific capacitance retention rate can reach 73.62%, showing a good multiplicative performance.
