A Mission-based System Reliability Evaluation Method

Abstract:
In order to evaluate the reliability of the operating system, an evaluation method was proposed based on the system missions. Firstly, the mission reliability block diagram was built based on the missions and system structure. Then the item test data was used to evaluate the system mission reliability. The importance algorithm was applied to recognize the critical point of the system, which could point out the focus during the test. The method could be applied to choice the better test program.
