Abstract:
This paper presents the latest 600V dual-in-line package intelligent power module (DIPIPM) which is suitable for middle power servo drivers. As one kind of motor control application, the servo driver requires higher carrier frequency, higher motor lock capacity and higher reliability than the general-purpose inverter (GPI). To achieve all these factors, DIPIPM is a good choice and is already accepted by worldwide servo makers. Large DIPIPM Ver.4/6 and mini DIPIPM Ver.7 were introduced and compared in this paper. Good performance and perfect protection functions make the new DIPIPM power modules easy to use.
