Study on fall warning system of elderly living alone based on OpenPose

Abstract:
The existing pension model is mainly divided into social pension and home pension. The latter are divided into old people living with their families or living alone. At present, the elderly at home account for a large proportion of the elderly, living alone is not a minority. Old people live alone for a variety of reasons. Some don't have family, some don't have family all the time. However, some of them choose to live on their own instead of going to a nursing home. Some of them are not allowed by their economic conditions, and some of them are worried that it is difficult for them to adapt to the traditional Chinese thinking that their home is their home. With the coming of the aging society, the number of elderly people living alone will continue to increase. How to provide more and better care for the elderly is a test of the degree of civilization of the society, and also a test of the work ability and level of relevant departments. This paper proposes an OpenPose based fall warning system for the elderly living alone to provide better care for the elderly, especially for the elderly living alone.
