Abstract:
In this paper, a brightness adaptive Retinex algorithm based on visual characteristics is proposed to enhance low-quality images. On the basis of MSRCR algorithm, this method uses bilateral filtering instead of Gaussian filtering. By nonlinear combination of spatial proximity and gray similarity, we can not only get the smoothed image after denoising, but also keep the details of the image edge, thus overcoming the image edge blur problem caused by linear filtering. The experimental results show that the algorithm can not only improve the influence of uneven illumination on the image, but also enhance the color and contrast of the image. At the same time, it also retains the edge information and details of the image, highlights the characteristics of defects and enhances the image quality.
