Abstract:
SHINE is the first hard X-ray FEL light source in China. A new digital BPM (Beam Position Monitor) processor has been developed to meet the requirements of SHINE. We designed a firmware and software structure based on the digital BPM processor to achieve the functionality of data acquisition. The digitized data from ADCs could be received, buffered, and stored in the DDR memory and the SD card. The sampling rate could be configured while the digital BPM processor is running. The firmware and software structure has been used in the hardware performance tests, which verifies the functionality of the system.
