Abstract:
ANSYSworkbench software is used to establish the finite element model of disc brake disc, and the statics analysis of the brake disc model is carried out. The lightweight design of HT250 brake disc is carried out, and casting aluminum alloy material with low density and high strength is adopted. The analysis results show that the stiffness and strength of aluminum alloy brake disc are still in controllable range, and the mass of aluminum alloy brake disc is reduced by 60% compared with HT250 brake disc. The structure of HT250 brake disc is optimized, the strength of the optimized HT250 brake disc meets the yield strength of HT250, and the weight of the optimized HT250 brake disc is reduced to 16% of the original.
