Abstract:
In this paper, we designed a three-connection dual-contact silicone button to meet the demand for automated assembly of silicone keys for electric pianos in the market, which can realize parts and automated assembly compared with the original button structure. The button structure was modelled by Solidworks, and the button was pressed and simulated using workbench. The pressing structure parameters were determined according to the design requirements. The pin of the button adopts a pin structure with nodes. The assembly process was simulated by finite method, and the four parameters of interference, node height, pin hole diameter, and initial pin diameter were comprehensively considered and analysed. Finally, it was concluded that the node interference had the greatest impact on the button assembly process.
