Abstract:
The speed and complexity of space mission are increasing. The space to ground system needs to offer high speed and reliability for the various space mission data and afford the Quality of Service for end to end transfer. Therefore, based on the space to ground channel, an adaptive transmission mode is presented for improving the effective throughput of the space to ground system. Firstly, by analyzing the space to ground system effective throughput, the optimal frame length is gotten. Secondly, according to the frequency range characteristics, the model of space to ground channel is established and simulated. Then, based on the space to ground channel state, the design of RS coding and CC coding is deduced and simulated. Finally, the adaptive transmission switch thresholds, the frame length parameters and the coding pattern are presented by simulation of the space to ground system. The adaptive transmission mode can reduce the check bits of transmission frames to improve the coding efficiency, increase the length of transmitted frames to improve the frame efficiency.
