Abstract:
In order to explore the reliability of a gun on the shelf, the strength analysis and modal analysis are carried out by using ANSYS. First of all, the established three-dimensional model is introduced into the finite element method, and the constraint and load are applied to solve the problem. And check the stress and displacement on the shelf, the location of the maximum stress and maximum displacement, each order of natural frequencies and the corresponding mode shapes. Through the results of ANSYS analysis, it is found that the maximum stress and strain appear in the ear shaft. And it's all within the allowable range. At the same time, the natural frequencies of the shelves are all in the high frequency area, while the projectile firing frequency of the gun is only very small. Therefore, there will be no resonance, so the structure on the shelf is reliable. The results can also provide a basis for the improved design of the ear shaft of upper shelf.
