Abstract:
With the boom in smart city construction and the continued development of data analysis applications in the water industry, smart water management systems (SWMS) have become increasingly popular for water management. This paper proposes a BIM-based SWMS platform, which can address the "information island" problem associated with current smart water management methods. The construction aims and system framework of the platform are expounded, and its data integration and functional modules are described in detail. At the same time, the unique advantages of applying BIM to smart water management, such as three-dimensional interactive roaming experience, improving equipment maintenance management, and drawing document extraction, are highlighted. This provides an effective solution for the construction and development of smart water infrastructure in the future, and provides new ideas for the application of BIM technology in the municipal industry.
