Abstract:
The operation and management strategy of shared parking as a new sharing economy model to alleviate the conflict between parking supply and demand needs urgent improvement. In this paper, we propose a new operation scheme that prioritizes the allocation of commuter parking demand, taking into account three factors: the rental cost of the platform, the service revenue and the potential loss caused by rejecting users' requests. In this paper, we propose an efficient binary integer programming model for reservation and allocation of shared parking spaces by combining two allocation methods: "global information-based allocation" and "first-come-first-served". Subsequently, the model is evaluated by indicators such as platform profit, parking space utilization efficiency, and parking request acceptance rate. Through numerical experiments and comparative analysis, the model can provide theoretical reference for the operation and management decision of the platform.
