Abstract:
The use of permanent magnet generators and + - 270 V DC BUS is a fundamental for advanced aircraft power supply system. AC/DC converter is proposed, which has an improved efficiency. Control system of such a converter is developed, in which Synchronous Reference Frame PLL (SRF-PLL) is used. It allows excepting the use of a rotor position sensor of permanent magnet generator. To find out the unintended latent attractors it is proposed applying special analytical numerical computational procedures based on modification of Lyapunov’s function methods. The equations for calculation of lost power in diodes and transistors of AC/DC converter are obtained. The experiment results showed that developed power circuit compared to well-known AC/DC converter has the lost power in the diodes and the transistors 9% less. This article is of interest to engineers of power converters for both aeronautical and ground-based isolated power supply system with bipolar DC BUS voltage, which should have a low mass and a high efficiency.
