Abstract:
The objective of this paper is to present a soft-switching control strategy for a multi-transformer isolated DC/DC converter. The input stage is based on a current-source inverter topology with imbricated cells while the output stage is based on a voltage-source inverter topology with paralleled cells. The duality between input and output circuits allows a soft switching operation on both sides. Depending on the contact line voltage level, thanks to this multi-cell and multitransformer topology parallel or series operating modes can be selected.
