Abstract:
The increase in the decentralized generation of renewable electricity makes a decentralized compensation of generation and consumption necessary in order to avoid increasing cross-regional electricity transports. One of the most relevant consumers in those local regions are companies of the tertiary sector. Therefore and for various other research questions, the development of synthetic load profiles of companies in the tertiary sector is necessary. This contribution proposes an approach based on multilinear regression to derive synthetic load profiles based on historic data. Furthermore, the influ-ence of an upstream harmonisation of historic demand data with the Dynamic Time Warping algorithm is investigated. The results show that the multilinear regression approach can be used to derive synthetic load profiles of the tertiary sector while the usage of the Dynamic Time Warping algorithm increases the accuracy of the simulation only for some types of tertiary companies.
