Abstract:
In a previous publication, a Wind Turbine Nacelle Test Bench was presented. This test bench consists of the complete nacelle of a wind turbine with dismounted rotor blades. In order to realize the identical electrical and dynamical behavior of a real wind turbine, the missing rotor has to be considered. Therefore, a DSP based Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) rotor including the pitch adjustment was developed. The HiL rotor also adjusts the control of the pitch system on the test bench to achieve an identical real adjustment of the rotor plates. The differences in the pitch angle calculated with the HiL rotor and the adjusted pitch angle curve on the test bench are compared to an open field measurement.
