Abstract:
More than two modules often have to be paralleled in a converter to reach the necessary current rating. Most investigations of transient current mismatches focus on the interaction of two IGBTs. The parallelisation of more than two IGBTs and the current mismatches during switching is investigated by TCAD-simulations and measurements in this paper.
