              Abstract:
This paper describes the implementation of a well-known vector control scheme for a Superficial-Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (S-PMSM) with a sensorless algorithm based on the estimation of back-EMF. The highlight here is the novel and extensively evaluation of this sensorless algorithm, from the application point of view. For this, different kinds of torque-speed curves are applied so that the load-dynamic is manipulated (load-side) and speed-response of the sensorless (motor-side) is analyzed. Based on such results, robustness and performance are defined. All the results were obtained from real experiments, using a coupled system as described in Section 6 (Fig. 5 and Table 1).
