eCoMove: Cooperative ITS for Green Mobility

Abstract:
eCoMove project envisions fuel consumption reduction in road transport by 20% by applying information and communication technologies, in particular Cooperative ITS communication based on latest international standards used to support innovative green mobility applications. The eCoMove communication platform is based on results from previous EU funded projects like CVIS and SAFESPOT. This paper presents an overview of eCoMove project, the systems concept and applications. At the conference the simulation setup for evaluating the expected impact will be presented, as well as: the evolution of the existing cooperative platform(s) to conform to eCoMove requirements, the Communication Stack supporting green applications developed in eCoMove, and finally the participation of eCoMove to the ETSI PLUGTEST in Helmond showing interoperability with DRIVE-C2X implementation. cooperative its; green mobility
