Abstract:
This paper presents a simulation study of nonhybrid and hybrid localization techniques using RSSI, TOA, and TDOA location dependent parameters. Maximum likelihood and weighted least squares are considered and developed for both non-hybrid and hybrid cases. Monte-Carlo simulations using realistic radio parameters extracted from an ultra wide band measurement campaign are carried out in order to assess the performances of different techniques and to show the importance of hybrid data fusion for localization.
