Abstract:
We describe an integrated tool chain for the development, testing and deployment of multimodal context recognition systems. The tool chain aims to support data collection, allow structured storage and retrieval of annotated sensor signals and supporting material, simplify the labeling and associated post processing, facilitated flexible usage and combination of different parts of a recording and allow easy implementation of distributed, adaptive recognition systems. It has been implemented around the established CRN Toolbox rapid prototyping platform, has been successfully used in a variety of experiments and is currently being made available to the community as an open source project.
