Abstract:
Increasing manufacturing costs of Integrated Circuits and tight time-to-markets require processing architecture easily configurable and programmable. Use of regular architectures is a promising approach to master the design complexity of processors for embedded systems. This paper presents the definition of a SIMD architecture addressing image processing applications.
