Low cost RFID tags based on printed Electronics

Abstract:
PolyIC is printing electronic circuitry with organic polymers. Electrically conducting and semiconducting organic polymers are relatively new. Together with the long known insulating polymers, they enable the construction of microelectronics purely from polymers. The conducting and semi conducting effects in the polymers are due to their special molecular structure with conjugated chains and regularity of the polymer units. The expertise of PolyIC is the processing of the polymers into microelectronic circuits and devices.
