Abstract:
The nonlinear tolerance of 40Gb/s coherent POM-QPSK is investigated. Inline dispersion-managed systems show better performance than digitally post ocmpensated systems, and can be further improved by 1dB with digdal mitigation of nonlinear phase distortions.
